What do you know about Canandaigua

Canandaigua, the Chosen Spot, First settled by the Seneca and recognized for its beauty. White settlers arrived in the late 1700's and forged the Canandaigua Treaty which is still recognized by the federal government.

Canandaigua became a town, officially, in 1791, the Village was established in 1815, seperating itself from the town. By 1913 the village had grown up into a city.
